Delicious hand made tortillas. 😋 I only eat 2 of the regular tortillas but these are just delicious I can eat up to 4. The carnitas (fried pork) are really good. The salsas are 💣 bomb 🔥. Anything you eat here is really good. 👌

I love trying new places. When mom suggested tacos, I knew this was an opportunity to try a restaurant we have past hundreds of times. I have been to Mexico a few times, and Carnitas Don Alfredo brings me back there. Some of the advertising in the restaurant said Michoacán style (I had to Google that, Michoacán is a state along the Pacific ocean just south of Jalisco - the state Puerto Vallarta is in. One of my favorite Mexican cities). The menu is in Spanish with English subtitles (just like in Puerto Vallarta!). I got the Torta Milanesa, a chicken breast pounded flat in seasoned bread crumbs and deep-fried. Served on a soft roll that is toasted and buttered with lettuce, avocado, and tomatoes. It was one of the best chicken sandwiches I have ever had. Mom had a Burritoes Asada. The beef was tender and well seasoned without being spicy. Each table has two hot sauces to add the amount of heat you want. The counter had geometric tile work that reminded me of the aguava plant - that tequila comes from. I do not know if that is intentional, but the state of Michoacán does have some tequila distilleries, so maybe.
