All the food is homemade here, their service is on point, the tables were cleaned quickly and thoroughly as people left. Ordering was quick and you can easily order in English and en Español. The owners, Hector and his wife, are super friendly, down to earth and great people to just talk with! The tortillas are made fresh almost hourly and all the meat is extremely tender and FULL of magnificent flavor! The atmosphere is relaxed and a great place to take your family for a nice lunch or dinner! What takes the cake for me is the homemade Jamaica (hibiscus tea), SUPER powerful flavor, not overly sweet, chilled to perfection, with the best blend of tart bite and sweet flow! The prices are very reasonable, especially for the amount of food you get! If you like Mexican food you DEFINITELY need to try Carnitas Don Alfredo in Northlake!

Went for lunch,after searching best restaurants in the area where I was attending some business. What a pleasant surprise! The place deserves all the stars! Fantastic tacos with carnitas! It's what the place is famous for! Got a side of pickled cauliflower,carrots and garlic,that complemented the tacos just right. Strongly recommend!
